About Us
Chris Goodmacher transferred to Dartmouth College and is a guest lecturer on transfer students for a master’s-level class at Teachers College, Columbia University. He is quoted several times in Cal Newport’s book, How to Become a Straight-A Student, and he has published on philosophy (morality and world poverty) and is a peer reviewer for the Financial Analysts Journal. Chris holds graduate degrees from the London School of Economics and Oxford University. He is from California and now lives in New York, where he helps interview applicants for Dartmouth. For fun, he likes DJing/producing music.
Lan Ngo transferred to Stanford University, where she majored in economics and won the U.S. Department of State Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship for study abroad. She then received a masters in education from Columbia University, which she attended on several scholarships and is currently a doctoral student in education at UPenn. She is also from California and now lives in Philadelphia. Lan loves traveling!
