Why The Transfer Book is Worth Promoting

The Transfer Book is for ambitious four-year college and community college students that want to transfer to really good schools. It has helped thousands of students already, but we think The Transfer Book can and should help even more students. Nearly 50% of all college students in the US transfer before they graduate. Most of those are community college students, but about 1 in 4 students that start at a four year college transfer before graduating. Despite these huge numbers, there’s very little information for them on the process out there.

What we’ve put together to meet the need is genuinely high quality: about 360 pages total, with real stats and student essays from top schools, plus over an hour and a half of audio. We transferred ourselves (to Dartmouth and Stanford) and Chris even guest lectures on transfer students for a Master’s-level class at Columbia University’s school of education.

Our reviews and media appearances speak to the quality of what we’ve made, and only 3% of customers ask for a refund. That number is absurdly low given that the return rate for most brick and mortar stores is around 9%, and it’s much easier to just send an email to ask for a refund than to take something back to the store.

How to Get Your Affiliate Link

We run our affiliate program through E-Junkie (great system, horrible name). Follow these five simple steps to get set up in less than five minutes.

1. To get started, get an account at E-junkie by following this link, which should open in a new tab: Join our affiliate program! It’s free and easy.

2. Once you’ve signed up there, and made sure your Paypal email address is on file, click the link “Get Affiliate Code.”

3. Then click on the second button on the page that comes up, which is also called “Get Affiliate Code.”

4. You should now be at a screen like the one below. The arrow we’ve added shows you your affiliate link.

5. That link was generated specifically for you and leads to The Transfer Book. Just take that link and direct people to our site. When anyone visits our site from that link and purchases The Transfer Book within six months (E-junkie keeps track of who came from where), you’ll get 50% commission.

That’s pretty much it! We pay you via Paypal within two weeks of the end of the month for the previous month’s sales. For example, if you earned $2,000 in January, you would receive that via Paypal from us by February 15.

The old standby. Just insert your link into a post or web page, and you’re good to go. We find that the most effective way to make sales is for you to write a review of The Transfer Book, place it on your web site, and link to our site. Honest reviews work the best, explaining who it’s for and who it isn’t for. (Basically, it’s for ambitious community college and four-year college students who want to transfer to and succeed at really good and selective schools.)
